The Texas Greenhouse Project is deeply committed to addressing the unique challenges faced by LGBTQIA+ young adults between the ages of 19-24 transitioning out of the foster care system. Addressing Unique Challenges

LGBTQIA+ young adults between the ages of 19-24 aging out of foster care encounter a myriad of challenges including discrimination, lack of family support, and heightened vulnerability to mental health issues and economic hardship. Recognizing these challenges, TGP focuses on providing not just a roof over their heads, but a stable and accepting community where they can thrive.

Creating
a Safe Haven

Our housing initiative is more than just physical shelter; it's a sanctuary where LGBTQIA+ young adults between the ages of 19-24 can feel valued and understood. We offer a trauma-informed and inclusive environment that celebrates diversity and encourages self-expression. Our aim is to ensure that these young adults feel secure and respected in their identity.
